The existing conveyor chain protection covers may allow asphalt infiltrations from the auger compartment to the chain compartment (bottom side) causing drag conveyor chain failures on certain AP355F Asphalt Pavers.

Refer to the Service Manual if/as necessary and see Special Instruction M0086981 to replace the existing chain protection covers with the new design covers. The new chain protection covers were designed to prevent asphalt infiltrations from the auger compartment to the chain compartment (bottom side).
