Remove Industrial Engine Water Temperature Regulators
1. Drain the engine cooling system-capacity 12 U.S. Gal. (45 liters). 2. Disconnect vent line (1).3. Disconnect bypass line (3) from regulator housing.4. Remove six mounting bolts and remove water temperature regulator housing (2). 5. Remove the water temperature regulators (5) and seals (4) from the housing.Install Industrial Engine Water Temperature Regulators
1. Using tool setup (A), install the seals in the regulator housing with the lip of seal facing up. 2. Install the water temperature regulators (1) in housing (2).3. Install the water temperature regulator housing.4. Connect the water temperature regulator bypass line.5. Connect the vent line.6. Fill the engine cooling system.Remove Marine Engine Water Temperature Regulators
1. Drain the engine cooling system-capacity 17.5 U.S. Gal. (68 liters). 2. Loosen hose clamp (1).3. Remove the regulator housing and cover assembly (2). 4. Remove the regulator housing cover and remove water temperature regulators (4).5. Remove the regulator seals (3) from housing (5).Install Marine Engine Water Temperature Regulators
1. Using tool setup (A), install the seals in the regulator housing with the lip of seal facing expansion tank. 2. Place the temperature regulators (2) into housing (3).3. Install cover (1) on housing (3) and install the assembly on the engine. Install the housing and cover assembly retaining bolts.4. Tighten the water line hose clamp.5. Fill the engine cooling system.
