Installation of 3G6652 Bushing.--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------Description of Change: A new bushing is available from Parts Service for use in the 8J8170 Elevator Idler Rollers on earlier 613 Scrapers. The new bushing has a higher shoulder so more torque can be used on the retainer nut of the idler roller. When the former bushing was used, bearing failures were caused when the retainer nut loosened during operation.Adaptable To: The new 3G6652 Bushing is adaptable to 613 Scrapers with serial numbers 72M1-72M4435. It is a direct replacement for the former 7J5821 Bushing Assembly which is canceled. Two bushings are needed per machine. Tighten the retainer nut to a torque of 225 5 lb ft (300 7 N m).
