Introduction
The following instructions will describe the steps necessary to install a new 385-1274 Sensor Wiring Gp to certain Vibratory Soil Compactor.Installation Procedure

Remove the bolts, the washers, 304-9331 Guard Bracket (2), and 248-0342 Sensor (1) from 230-6431 Plate (3) .
Disconnect 248-0342 Sensor (1) from underneath the cab.
Remove the cable straps and 248-0342 Sensor (1) from the machine.
Remove the bolts, the washers, and 230-6431 Plate (3) .

Install new sensor 390-1735 Sensor (5) and the bolts to 341-3061 Plate (4) .Note: The harness assembly and 390-1735 Sensor (5) are a one piece assembly.
Install 341-3061 Plate (4), the washers, and the bolts to the gearbox mounting plate.

Route the harness toward the cab. Install 7K-1181 Cable Straps to appropriate locations.

Disconnect "AR-C1" of 317-6941 Wiring Harness (7) from "G-C7" of 312-3664 Platform Harness As (8) .
Connect jumper harness to "AR-C1" of 317-6941 Wiring Harness (7) and to "G-C7" of 312-3664 Platform Harness As (8). Connect to "VS-C2" of 390-1735 Sensor (5) with 390-1736 Cable As (6) .

Use 7K-1181 Cable Straps to secure 390-1735 Sensor (5) .Note: The excess length of 390-1735 Sensor (5) should be coiled. The harness must have a bend radius of 50 mm (2 inch) or greater.
Flash new 368-8124 Machine Software Gp to Plus1 controller using Plus1 diagnostic software. The controller must be 292-2443 Controller , 368-8125 Electronic Control Gp , or equivalent with two 24 pin connectors.
