Improper lifting and improper tie-downs can allow the load to shift and cause injury or damage.
The weight and the instructions that are given herein describe the machine as the machine is manufactured by Caterpillar.Refer to the Operation and Maintenance, "Specifications" for specific weight information.
Use proper rated cables and slings for lifting. The crane should be positioned so that the machine is lifted parallel to the ground.
To prevent contact with the machine, lifting cables should have sufficient length.
Use the rear eyes and the front eyes that are provided on the lower frame to fasten tie-downs. Use corner protectors for sharp corners.

Fasten a proper rated wire cable to each lifting eye with a shackle. This machine has four lifting points on the front of the machine. The machine also has one lifting point on the rear of the machine.By using an appropriate lifting device, put tension on the lifting cables and slowly lift the machine.Counterweight

Install two M16 X P2 lifting eyebolts into the corners of the cab. The lifting eyebolts should be 180 degrees away from each other on the top of the cab. Attach properly rated wire cables to the lifting eyebolts.Stick with Bucket Cylinder
