A 1P-1857 Retaining Ring Pliers 1 Start By:
Remove the gear pump (hydraulic fan). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Hydraulic Fan) - Remove".

Remove fitting (1) from body (2). Remove O-ring seal (3) from the fitting.

Remove fitting (4) from body (2). Remove O-ring seal (5) from the fitting.

Remove four nuts (7) and four washers (8) that secure flange (6) to body (2). Separate the flange from the body.

Remove O-ring seal (9) from the back face of flange (6) .

Use tool (A) to remove retaining ring (10) that retains lip seal (11) in flange (6) .

Use a suitable pin punch to remove lip seal (11) gently from flange (6) .

Remove the assembled pressure plate (12), seal (13) and backup seal (14) from body (2) .

Separate pressure plate (12), seal (13) and backup seal (14) from each other.

Remove drive gear (15) and driven gear (16) from body (2) .
