Information:
The machine must be on a solid, level surface.1. Put blocks in front of and behind all four wheels.2. Move the floor to the 'CLOSED' position and stop the engine. Move the implement controls to all positions to release the pressure in the circuits. Slowly loosen the cap on the hydraulic tank to release any pressure inside the tank. 3. Put tooling (A) under the draft frame. 4. Put tooling (B) under the front of the tractor. 5. Remove the three lube lines (not shown), the bolts, yokes (3), and pin (1) from both sides of the hitch. Separate the steering links and steering cylinder rod (2).
Do not disconnect any air or hydraulic lines until the systems pressure is zero. Failure to do so can result in personal injury.
6. Put identification marks on all hydraulic, air, and fuel line hoses for assembly purposes. 7. Disconnect all hose assemblies (4), (6), and (7). Disconnect the wiring harness and clips. Remove bracket (5). 8. Put blocks (8) under each side of the hitch to hold it in position. 9. Remove bolts (11), lock (10) and yokes (9) from the upper and lower hitch pins. 10. Remove upper hitch pin (12) with a suitable hydraulic jack (13). 11. Remove lower hitch pin (14) with a pry bar as shown. Remove spacer (15). 12. Apply 80 psi (552 kPa) of shop air or put identification on nut location and loosen nuts on rod and move lever (16) to the left to release the parking brake. 13. Install tooling (C) and chains on the front frame and separate the tractor and scraper. 14. Lift the draft frame with tooling (A) to clear transmission controls (17). 15. Remove three washers (18) from the hitch. The following steps are for connection of the tractor and scraper.16. Install washers (18). The first or bottom washer is installed with the groove down. The second washer is bronze and the last washer has no grooves.17. Put the tractor in alignment with the scraper using a fork lift truck, tooling (C), and chains. Install tooling (B).18. With the draft frame lifted to clear transmission controls (17), push the tractor and lower the draft frame with tooling (A) to align the draft frame and the hitch.19. Install upper hitch pin (12).20. Put washer (15) in position and install lower hitch pin (14).21. Install yokes (9), lock (10), and bolts (11) on the upper and lower hitch pins.22. Remove blocks (8).23. Install bracket (5). Connect all hose assemblies (4), (6), and (7) and the wiring harness and clips.24. Align the steering links and steering cylinder rod (2). Install pin (1), yokes (3), the bolts, and the three lube lines on both sides of the hitch.25. Put lever (16) on the parking brake chamber in its original position or disconnect the air supply to activate the parking brake.26. Remove tooling (A) and (B).27. Remove the blocks from behind and in front of the scraper wheels.
Do not disconnect any air or hydraulic lines until the systems pressure is zero. Failure to do so can result in personal injury.
