Attach a suitable lifting device to piston pump (7). The weight of piston pump (7) is approximately 82 kg (181 lb).
Apply Tooling (A) to the splines of piston pump (7). Install the O-ring seal, piston pump (7), and bolts (8).

Connect hose assemblies (2), (6), (5), (3) , and (1) to the piston pump (7).
Connect harness assemblies (4) to piston pump (7). End By:
Install the gear pump (fan drive). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Fan Drive) - Install".
Install the radiator, air cooler, and hydraulic oil cooler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator, Air Cooler, and Hydraulic Oil Cooler - Remove and Install".
