If the drain plug (step 3) is not installed, there is a drain valve. Open the drain valve located on the transmission filter housing. Close after oil is drained.1. Unlatch and open the access cover, located at front of machine. 2. Pull the drain hose out.3. Remove the drain plug from the hose.4. Allow the oil to drain from the filter housing.5. Reinstall the drain plug and close the cover.Change the Filter Element
1. Remove the bolts and cover assembly. 2. Remove the used filter element (1).3. Inspect the seal (2) on top of housing. Replace, if cut or damaged.
Dirty oil or debris left in the transmission filter housing during filter change can enter the transmission and cause serious damage. Use a clean, dry cloth to clean the bottom of the housing.
4. Clean the bottom of the housing with a clean, dry cloth. 5. Insert a new filter element into the housing. 6. Reinstall the cover assembly and bolts.7. Start the engine and refill the transmission oil as specified in the "Every 10 Service Hours or Daily."Change Filter - Later Models

To avoid transmission contamination, the filter element housing must be drained of oil before removing filter element.

1. Remove the filter with a strap type wrench. 2. Remove the used filter element (1).3. Inspect the seal (2) on top of housing. Replace, if cut or damaged.

1. Install jack handle and apply slight up pressure with jack. 2. Remove support link and allow jack relief valve to SLOWLY LOWER cab to frame. 3. When cab is completely to frame, remove the clip and pin. Loosen top of jack, and allow jack to hinge rearward.4. Install ALL 6 bolts, 3 on each side that were originally removed. Replace support link in its storage position. Tighten all 6 bolts securely. Torque for these bolts is 875 100 N.m (640 80 lb ft).5. Move jack forward, replace top pin and retaining clip. 6. Reconnect all 4 linkages on right side of machine. 7. Reconnect 1 linkage on left side of machine. Make
