Removal Procedure
Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes.

Open the right side access door. Turn the battery disconnect switch (1) to the OFF position.
Reposition and secure cylinder (2) out of the way.

Remove the two bolts (3) and (6). Remove the bracket.
Loosen the nut and disconnect negative cable assembly (5) from battery (7).
Loosen the nut and disconnect positive cable assembly (4) from battery (7).
Use two people to remove battery (7). The weight of battery (7) is approximately 53 kg (117 lb). Remove battery (7).Installation Procedure
Install battery (7) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten the nuts for negative cable assembly (5) and positive cable assembly (4) to a torque of 7.2 1.6 N m (64 14 lb in).
