1. Put a 3/4 in. (19.05 mm) rod (8) in a vise.2. Put cap (6) over rod (8) as shown so the rod can support the center of the piston assembly (4).3. Put piston assembly (4) on cap (6). The raised outer edge of the diaphragm (7) must go in the groove (5) in cap (6).4. Install spring (1), housing (2) and bolts (3). Torque for bolts is 18 5 lb. ft.
