Note: Mark the position of the impeller hub in the impeller for assembly purposes.
Attach a suitable lifting device to the impeller. Position the impeller, as shown. Remove impeller hub (41) from the impeller.

Remove race (42) from impeller hub (41) .

Remove O-ring seal (43) from the impeller hub.

Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to plate (44). Remove plate (44) from the housing assembly. The weight of plate (44) is approximately 51 kg (112 lb). Remove Tooling (C) and the suitable lifting device from the plate.

Remove friction discs (45) and plates (46) from the housing assembly.

Remove piston (47), O-ring seal (48), and bearing (49) from the housing assembly.

Attach a suitable lifting device to the housing assembly. Position the housing assembly, as shown.
Remove bolts (50) that secure gear (51) to the housing assembly. Remove gear (51) from the housing assembly.

Place the shaft assembly on suitable cribbing or a fixture, as shown. Remove bolts (52) and retainers (53) that secure race (54) to the carrier. Remove race (54) from the carrier.

Remove seal rings (55) from the carrier.

Attach a suitable lifting device to the shaft assembly. Position the shaft assembly on suitable cribbing or a fixture, as shown.
Remove 12 bolts (56) and the washers that secure distributor (57) to the carrier. Remove distributor (57) from the carrier.

Remove lip seal (58) from distributor (57) .

Remove rotor (59) from distributor (57) .

Attach Tooling (G) and a suitable lifting device to the shaft. Remove shaft assembly (60) from the carrier. The weight of shaft assembly (60) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb).
