Insert bellcrank (2) with the “X” in the direction that is shown.

Slide control shaft (4) through the control shaft bushings. The center hole of operator fork (5) must line up with the center hole in alignment plate (3).
Insert the hex end of control shaft (4) into bellcrank (2).
Insert hitch pin (6) into the center hole of operator fork (5). Push hitch pin (6) through the center hole of alignment plate (3).

Secure bellcrank (2) to control shaft (4) by installing washer (7) and bolt (8). Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of bolt (8) before installation of bolt (8). Tighten bolt (8) to a torque of 54 5 N m (40 4 lb ft).

Install bellcrank cover (9) and capscrew (10). Apply 6V-5765 RTV Silicone Sealant around bellcrank cover (9) after installation is complete. Oil Fill

Rotate hub (11) until oil filler plug (12) is facing upward. Remove oil filler plug (12) and oil level plug (13).

Apply 6V-5765 RTV Silicone Sealant to oil drain plug (14) and install oil drain plug (14).
Fill hub (11) with oil. Refer to Maintenance Procedure, "Hub Oil - Add" for the correct procedure. Actuator − Install

Remove hitch pin (1). Position operator fork (2) against mechanical stop (3).

Turn actuator rod (4) outward to the fully extended position. The actuator motor can be felt turning when actuator rod (4) reaches the end of travel.
Retract actuator rod (4) by 180 degrees. Note: The actuator motor should not turn.

Slide actuator (4) through actuator collar (5). Verify that actuator collar (5) is oriented so that setscrews (6) are facing away from actuator clevis (7). Note: Rotation of actuator rod (4) may be required in order to line up the hole in actuator rod (4) with the hole in operator fork (2).

Insert hitch pin (1) through operator fork (2) and actuator rod (4).
Verify that operator fork (2) is against mechanical stop (3) and that the actuator motor is oriented in the correct position. Rotate actuator (4) in collar (5) prior to tightening setscrews (6). Verify that the actuator motor does not come into contact with any of the surrounding parts.
Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of setscrews (6). Tighten setscrews (6) to a torque of 16 N m (12 lb ft). Do not overtighten setscrews (6).
Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan - Remove and Install" for your machine for the procedure to install the fan.
Install the fan drive belts. Do not tighten the belts at this time.

Install fan blades (8) so that the “X” on the bottom of the blade is matching the “X” on the surface of blade mounting shafts (9).
Secure fan blades (8) with the capscrews that have already been coated with thread lock compound. Tighten the capscrews to a torque of 54 5 N m (40 4 lb ft).
Rotate fan blades (8) by hand through all positions in order to ensure that the fan operates freely.
