Tighten the bearing retainer until there is no clearance between the cup and the cone.
Loosen the bearing retainer. Loosen approximately three notches.
Assemble the lock.
Strike the output end of the shaft in order to seat the inner bearing cup against the bearing retainer.
The end play (B) should be 0.27 to 0.34 mm (0.011 to 0.013 inch). Note: A torque of 182 to 240 N m (135 to 175 lb ft) on the splined clutch shaft is required in order to engage the clutch.
