Install tooling (T3) in accordance with the flow meter tool layout to the diverter valves. Refer to Illustration 1 and Illustration 3.Note: If the work that is being tested has a cylinder, make sure that head end (A-side) of the cylinder is connected to the diverter valve (A-side) on the left side of the stick.
Open diverter valves that are mounted on each side of the stick.
Remove tooling (T4) from the hydraulic tank.
Verify that the correct type of work tool has been selected during the tool programming.Note: Work tools that rotate perform differently than work tools with cylinders.Test Procedure
Start the engine.
Set the engine speed dial at "10".
Lower the left console.

Push down on the power mode control button in order to activate power mode.Note: The indicator light will be illuminated when power mode is activated.

Disable the automatic engine speed control through the monitor by pressing the programmable button.

Select the hydraulic modulation mode as aggressive. Press the lower front switch on the left joystick to select the hydraulic modulation mode.
The air conditioning should be turned off for the following test.
To prevent personal injury or equipment damage from failure of the hydraulic test equipment or associated circuit components because of blocked pump flow, make sure that the test equipment valves are fully open before starting the engine.
To prevent personal injury and/or equipment damage from failed lines or components while the hydraulic test equipment is returned to the open flow position, slowly open the hydraulic test equipment valve while monitoring the pump flow.If pump flow does not increase as the valve is opened, shut the engine off and determine what is preventing the pump from upstroking.
For flow "A⇒B", move thumb slider on the left joystick or the hammer pedal to the maximum left position. For flow "B⇒A", move thumb slider on the left joystick or the hammer pedal to the maximum right position.
If the flow is not within specification, proceed to the "Adjust Procedure".Adjust Procedure
If the flow is too high or too low, change the value in the "Tool Configuration" menu.Note: Inorder to check the maximum flow, set the maximum value and compare the flow on the hydraulic tester to the specification that is listed in Table 1.

Press the "Menu" key to display the main menu options.

Use the arrows to select "Service Mode" from the "Main Menu". Press the "OK" key.
Input the password "FFF2". Press the "Enter" key.Note: The soft switch key pad can be used to enter the desired numbers.
