Assembly Procedure

Install stud (14) into cover (4). Put element (11), retainer (10), the O-ring seal, and locknut (13) in the correct position on the stud. Tighten locknut (13) to a torque of 14 3 N m (120 24 lb in).
Install O-ring seals (12) on cover (4) .

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Put cover (4) in the correct position in housing (7). Install bolts (8) .
Install plug (6) in the cover.
Install plug (9) in the housing.
Install spring (5), plunger (3), O-ring seal (2), and switch (1) into housing (7) .End By: Install the power train oil filter. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Power Train Oil Filter - Install" for the correct procedure.
