Use the appropriate illustration in order to position the new rails. Use a 10 mm (0.4 inch) fillet weld to weld the rails to the moldboard. Use E7018 welding electrode.Note: The top rail and the bottom rail must be replaced at the same time on the following models of motor graders: 120G, 120H, 130G, 130H, 140G and 140H. The cross section view of the new rails are different from the existing rails.

Drill the holes and tap the holes for the brackets for the side shift cylinder in the new rails. Reference the appropriate illustration for the dimensions.
