Information:
Front Attachment Quick Disconnect Lines (If Equipped)
Before connecting or disconnecting quick disconnect plugs, follow the hints below.1. Stop the engine.2. Move all of the hydraulic attachment control levers to relieve the hose line hydraulic pressure.3. Return all levers to HOLD position.Connecting and Disconnecting Lines
1. Disconnect hydraulic lines to the tool being used, wipe off all foreign material.2. Remove the plugs and connect the lines.3. Install plugs in unused disconnects.Diverter Valve (If Equipped)
Failure to fully rotate the diverter valve handle to the auxiliary position can allow the coupler pins to retract and may release the tool, resulting in possible personal injury.Rotate the diverter valve handle 90° to the auxiliary position when the hoses from the tool are connected.
Connect the two hoses from the tool and rotate the diverter valve handle 90° to the auxiliary position. This shuts off the coupler cylinder circuit and allows til to only go to the tool circuit. To remove the tool, disconnect the two hoses from the tool and rotate the diverter valve handle 90° to the coupler position. This allows the oil to enter the coupler circuit.Bucket Operating Information
Typical Examples
For good operator vision and loader stability, carry the loaded bucket low, approximately 40 cm (15 in) above the ground.Utilize wait time to clean and level the work area.Maintain traction by avoiding excessive down pressure on the bucket. When working in hard material use bucket teeth, or bolt-on cutting edges.Be certain that the bucket used is appropriate for the work performed. Exceeding the machine limits will reduce the service life of the machine.Dozing and Dumping
Dozing
Do not doze with the bucket in the tilt forward position or bucket damage can result.
Keep the bucket bottom parallel to the ground when dozing.Dumping
To control dumping, move the tilt control lever to the DUMP position. Then, return to the HOLD position. Repeat until the bucket is empty. To keep dust away from the engine and maintain visibility, dump with the wind to your back.Use the bucket stops for maximum dumping angle.
Striking the stops unnecessarily and repetitively can result in accelerated wear and high maintenance cost of the loader linkage.
Bucket Loading from a Stockpile
1. Position the bucket parallel to, and just skimming, the ground. Drive the bucket straight into the pile.2. Move the control to the RAISE detent position as forward movement slows. Return to the HOLD position for additional crowding power.3. To "pump" in a heaped load, work the tilt control lever back and forth.4. When the bucket is loaded, move the tilt control to the TILT BACK position.5. When the tilt control lever is released to the HOLD position, the bucket will rise.6. Raise the bucket high enough to clear the material being loaded. Move the transmission control to REVERSE.7. Carry the loaded bucket approximately 40 cm (15 in) above the ground level.8. When reaching the dump area, move the lift control to the RAISE detent. The lift kickout will automatically return the lift control to HOLD.Bucket Loading Hauling Units
1. To reduce the loader turning and travel, position the hauling
