Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Use Tool (A) to clean the unit injector bore.
Use Tool (B) to clean the unit injector seat.Note: Check the fuel passage in the cylinder head assembly. Remove any debris left from the use of Tool (A) and Tool (B) .
Apply tooling (E) to upper land (1) and lower land (2) on the unit injector sleeve.

Install Tooling (D) into the threads of unit injector sleeve.
Position Tooling (D) and the unit injector sleeve in the cylinder head.
Use Tooling (C) and a hammer to install unit injector sleeve in the cylinder head.
Repeat Step 1 through Step 6 in order to install the remaining unit injector sleeves.End By: Install the electronic unit injectors.
