Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the Exhaust Sensor Lines.
Turn the fuel supply to the Off position.

View from above the engine looking down onto the fuel pressure regulator. The fuel pressure regulator is mounted to the left side inlet manifold.
Remove clamp assembly (1) and remove tube assembly (3).
Disconnect hose assemblies (2), (4), and (5).

Remove bolts (7) and remove the fuel pressure regulator (6).

Remove check valves (8) from manifold (6).

Remove O-ring seal (10) from check valve (9). Remove backup ring (11) and O-ring seal (12) from check valve (9). Repeat this step for the other check valve. Installation Procedure
Install the fuel pressure regulator (6) in the reverse order.
Tighten check valves (8) to a torque of 28 3 N m (21 2 lb ft).
