CAB HARNESS LADDER CLIP REPLACEMENT
For Groups 1, 2, and 3, at the left hand side of the front dash and under the dash, cut the cable strap and remove the existing ladder clip. Install the new longer 220-5946 Ladder Clip using a 7K-1181 Cable Strap to secure the harness to the ladder clip. The new assembly will allow the recirculation filter to be removed without interfering with the harness. See Image 1.11.1.

REWORK PROCEDURE FOR WATER LEAK PATHS ON BOTH SIDES OF CAB FRONT
For Groups 1, 2, and 3, perform steps 1 and 2.
1. Clean area to apply sealant/caulk with isopropyl alcohol.
2. Apply sealant/caulk to the gap between plates from A to B on both sides of the cab. Note the area for no sealant/caulk in this area, this area is a water drain slot. See Image 1.12.1.

REWORK PROCEDURE FOR THE WATER LEAK PATHS ON THE INSIDE SIDE PLATES ON THE CAB FRONT.
For Groups 1 and 2, perform Steps 1 and 2.
For Group 3, the side plates have already been sealed up, skip Steps 1 and 2.
1. In the fresh air filter area, clean the area with isopropyl alcohol in preparation to apply sealant/caulk.
2. Side plates are skip welded, apply sealant/caulk to plates between skip welds on both sides. See Image 1.13.1.

For Group 1, reassemble the dash components removed which includes the grommet, harness, sensor, dash, footrest, cable straps, fresh air filter, and HVAC side covers.
For Group 2 and 3, install the fresh air filter and reassemble the HVAC side covers.
REWORK PROCEDURE FOR CAB TO FRAME INTERFERENCE WHEN THE MACHINE IS OPERATING.
For Groups 1, 2, and 3, perform Step 1 through Step 8.
1. Remove the seal on both the left and right hand side of the machine. See Image 1.14.1.
2. Inspect and measure the clearance on the left and right hand side of the machine at the cab sheet metal step between the bottom of the plate and top of the bolts on the frame. See Image 1.14.2 and Image 1.14.3.

3. For both sides, if the clearance is equal to or greater than 11 mm (0.43 inch) between the bottom of the plate and the top of the bolts, nothing further needs to be done on that side.
4. For both sides, if the clearance is less than 11 mm (0.43 inch), the plate will need to be reworked on that side.
5. To rework either plate, remove the step on that side, mark the area of the plate/s where the material needs to be removed to provide the clearance. Cut away the material according to the markings. See Image 1.15.1, Image 1.15.2, Image 1.15.3, and Image 1.15.4.

6. Touch up the paint on the plates where the material was cut away.
7. Cut an appropriate length of 221-8310 Seal for each side and put a notch in the seal 50.8 mm (2 inch) from one end as shown in Image 1.16.1.

8. Install the seals on the left and right side below the cab sheet metal step as shown in Image 1.17.1.
