Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all harness assemblies, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Remove belt (1). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".
Disconnect harness assemblies (3).
Disconnect clip (4).
Remove bolt (2) and remove bolt (5).
Set refrigerant compressor (6) out of the way.

Disconnect hose (9).
Disconnect clips (7).
Disconnect harness assembly (8).
Disconnect harness assemblies (10).
Disconnect clip (11).

Disconnect hoses (12).

Disconnect cable assembly (13).
Disconnect ground strap (14).
Disconnect clip (15).

Remove clip (16) and set refrigerant accumulator (17) to the side.
Disconnect tube assemblies (18) and (20).
Disconnect harness assembly (19).

Remove cover (21).

Remove bolts (23).
Disconnect hose assembly (24).
Remove bracket assembly (22).

Attach Tooling (B) to engine (25). The weight of engine (25) is approximately 1180 kg (2600 lb).
Use a suitable lifting device to attach one end of Tooling (C) to Tooling (B). Attach the other end of Tooling (C) to engine (25). Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (C).

Remove bolts (26).
Disconnect hose assembly (27) from engine (25).

Position Tooling (A) under rear guard assembly (28). The weight of rear guard assembly (28) is approximately 75 kg (165 lb).
Remove bolts (29).
Use Tooling (A) to lower rear guard assembly (28). Remove rear guard assembly (28).

Use the suitable lifting device that is attached to Tooling (B) and Tooling (C) to raise the engine. Raise the engine enough to place Suitable Cribbing (X) between transmission housing (30) and rear axle housing (31).

Remove bolts (33) from torque converter housing (32).
Use the suitable lifting device that is attached to Tooling (B) and Tooling (C) to remove the engine from the machine. Place the engine onto suitable cribbing.

Remove O-ring seal (34) and O-ring seal (35).
