Replace circuit breakers with the same type and size only. Otherwise, electrical damage can result.If it is necessary to reset circuit breakers frequently, an electrical problem may exist. Contact your Caterpillar dealer.
The circuit breaker panel is located in the cab, below and to the left of the dash panel. The circuit breakers protect the electrical system from damage caused by circuit overload.
Circuit Breakers - Push in the button to reset the circuit breaker. If the electrical system is working properly, the button will remain depressed. If the button does not remain depressed, check the appropriate electrical circuit. Repair the electrical circuit, if necessary.

(1) 15 amp - Caterpillar Monitoring System, gauge lamps, health monitoring. (2) 15 amp - Remote control system (if equipped). (3) 15 amp - Autodig system (if equipped). (4) 15 amp - Payload Control System (PCS) (if equipped), payload system (if equipped). (5) 15 amp - Remote control system (if equipped), service tool connector. (6) 15 amp - Air Conditioning system (if equipped). (7) 15 amp - Automatic lubrication system (if equipped), exhaust back pressure control (if equipped), horn. (8) 15 amp - 24V to 12V converter, dash lamps, cassette player (if equipped), accessories. (9) 15 amp - Power train ECM. (10) 15 amp - Wiper/washers (if equipped). (11) 15 amp - Engine start switch, ET service connector, remote control system (if equipped), engine ECM, health monitoring. (12) 15 amp - 24V to 12V converter, dome lamp (if equipped), accessories. (13) 30 amp (Automatic) - Right side lights, front headlights, rear floodlight. (14) 30 amp (Automatic) - Left side lights, tail light (if equipped), lower floodlight.

Each circuit breaker has a specified current rating, depending on the system requirements. If an overload occurs on a system, the circuit breaker element will separate, power will not be supplied to the system until the circuit breaker has been reset. If the circuit breaker element separates again a fault is present in the related electrical system.
