Certain 2P4005 Filters manufactured from 20 Jun 00 through
29 Jul 00 are cracking along the outside diameter of the top plate end by the seam rollover. These filters should be removed from dealer stock and from customer's locations. Applicable machines should be inspected and filters should be removed and replaced as required.
ACTION REQUIRED
Remove all 2P4005 Filters manufactured from 20 June 00 through 29 July 00 from dealer stock.
SERVICE CLAIM ALLOWANCES
Submit one claim for all 2P4005 Filters removed from parts stock.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
