Installation Procedure

Position selector valve (5) on the machine. Install the washers and bolts (6) that hold the selector valve in place.
Connect the electrical connector to the solenoid valve.Note: Make sure that the hydraulic lines are connected in the original positions.
Connect hydraulic hoses (4) to the selector valve.

Install fender (3) on the left side of the machine.
Install high efficiency filters in place of the pilot filter, case drain filter, and the return filter.Note: High efficiency filters should not be run for more than 250 hours before you change back to the standard filters.
Check the hydraulic system oil level.Reference: Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check" for the correct procedure.
Start the machine. Run the machine at low idle speed. Check all of the hose connections for leaks. Recheck the oil level in the hydraulic oil tank.
Obtain a hydraulic oil sample.Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Sampling Interval and Location for Sampling" for the correct location.
If the S O S sample exceeds ISO 18/15, flush the hydraulic system.Reference: Refer to Contamination Control Guidelines, SEBF8449, "Hydraulic System Flushing Procedure for 313B Hydraulic Excavators" for further information.
