Using nickel anti-seize when installing thermocouples on an engine prevents seizure of the thermocouple in the fitting. Loctite Nickel Anti-Seize prevents corrosion, seizing, and galling in temperature up to 1315° C (2400° F).Part number 337-7965 Anti-seize is no longer available through the Cat Parts System. The anti-seize can be ordered through the Loctite website at the following address :
