PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Remove the cable straps (1). The cable straps will not be reused.
2. Remove two bolts (4), two washers (5), and the protective cover (2). Save the two bolts (4), two washers (5). The protective cover (2) will not be reused.
3. Remove the clip (3) from the sensor harness assembly. The clip will not be reused.

4. Disconnect the sensor harness (6) and the position sensor connector receptacle assembly (9).
5. Remove the connector plate (8). The connector plate will not be reused.
6. Disconnect the other end of the sensor harness (6) from machine and remove.

7. Assemble the position sensor connector receptacle assembly (7) to the new plate assembly (14).
8. Connect the position sensor to the connector receptacle assembly (7) and new plate assembly (14).

9. Connect the new sensor harness assembly (15) to the connector receptacle assembly (7) as shown illustration.
10. Install new clip onto harness assembly (15) and secure with top bolt (4) in Step 11.
11. Install the new plate assembly (14) with two bolts (4) and two hard washers (5) as shown in illustration. Use the parts that were saved in Step 2. Tighten the bolts (4).
12. Route the remainder of the new harness using new clips utilizing the same routing as the removed harness.

13. Install the new cover (17) to the new plate assembly (14) with two new bolts (18) and two new hard washers (19).
14. Repeat procedure for both sides of the machine.
