ACTION REQUIRED
If there is dust or water entry through the lower front corner of the right hand cab door, replace the right hand door assembly. Refer to the Parts Manual for part identification and part installation location on the cab doors for the following groups:
318-2461, Door Group - RH, Power Window
318-2464, Door Group - RH, Fixed Window
The recommended procedure is to install/bond the new window glass into the new door assembly prior to removing the truck from service.
1. Bond glass and window group into new door assembly. Refer to Special Instruction, SEHS9824.
2. Install adhesive-backed insulation into new door assembly.
3. Remove existing RH door.
4. Disassemble door and save parts for re-use.
5. Assemble parts onto new door assembly.
6. Install new door onto cab arrangement.
7. Check and adjust door. Refer to Special Instruction, SEHS9177.
