Information:

START BY:a) remove rollover protective structure*b) remove fuel tank*This Operation Is In The Operator's Station Disassembly And Assembly Section. 1. On machines equipped with a ripper control valve, remove tube assembly (1). Remove bolts (2) and tube assembly (3).
Later Models Only Step 2 is for later model machines.2. Put identification on three oil lines (4). Disconnect three oil lines (4) from parking brake control valve (5). Put plugs and caps in the openings.
Earlier Model Shown Step 3 is for earlier models only.3. Disconnect rod assembly (6) for the parking brake.4. Disconnect rod assembly (7) on machines equipped with a tilt cylinder on the bulldozer.5. Disconnect rod assembly (8) for the bulldozer. Step 6 is for machines with a direct drive transmission.6. Remove bolt (9) and cotter pin and pin (10) to disconnect flywheel clutch control rod (11) and forward-reverse control rod (12) from the support and seat group. 7. Disconnect decelerator linkage (13) from the pedal assembly. Some machines are not equipped with a decelerator pedal. Step 8 is for machines that have a direct drive transmission.8. Remove cover (14). Remove clamp (16). Remove the bolts that hold retainer (18) in place. Remove retainer (18) and boot (19).9. Remove floor plates (15) and (17).
Personal injury could be the result if a connection is made with a wrench between the positive (+) and negative (-) battery terminals. Use the following procedure to prevent personal injury.
10. Disconnect negative (-) battery cables (20) first. Put plastic or rubber caps on the battery terminals.11. Disconnect positive (+) battery cables (21). Put plastic or rubber caps on the battery terminals. 12. Remove nut (22), the lockwasher and plate (23) to remove the disconnect switch from the support and seat group. Step 13 is for machines that have a direct drive transmission.13. Put identification on wires (24) and (25). Disconnect wires (24) and (25) from the neutral start switch. Step 14 is for machines with a power shift transmission.14. Remove guide (26)
