1. Remove bolts (1) from both ends of plate (2). Remove plate (2) from the rear of the machine. 2. Turn the fuel supply valve (4) to the "OFF" position. Disconnect fuel lines (3) and (5) from the fuel tank.3. Put plugs and caps on all openings to keep dirt out of the fuel system. 4. Remove two bolts (6) that hold wire harness (7) to the fuel tank. Move the wire harness away from the fuel tank. 5. Remove two bolts (8) and spacers from each side of the fuel tank. These bolts hold the fuel tank to the fender.6. Use a pry bar and move the fuel tank approximately 1/2 in. (12.7 mm) from the support and seat group. This will permit the installation of lifting straps around the fuel tank. 7. Fasten a hoist to fuel tank (9) as shown. Remove the fuel tank from the machine. The weight of an empty fuel tank is approximately 250 lb. (113 kg). The weight of the fuel tank with 66 U.S. gal. (250 liter) is approximately 700 lb. (318 kg).Install Fuel Tank
1. Fasten a hoist to fuel tank (1) as shown. Put the fuel tank in position on the machine.2. If the machine has an air conditioner, be careful not to put the fuel tank down on the air conditioner lines. The weight of an empty fuel tank is approximately 250 lb. (113 kg). The weight of the fuel tank with 66 U.S. gal. (250 liter) of fuel is approximately 700 lb. (320 kg). 3. Install bolts (2) and the spacers on both ends of the fuel tank to hold it in place on the fender. 4. Put wire harness (3) in position on the fuel tank. Install the two bolts that hold it in place. 5. Connect two fuel lines (5) to the bottom of the fuel tank.6. Turn fuel supply valve (4) to the "ON" position. 7. Install plate (6) on the back side of the machine.8. Use the fuel priming pump to fill the fuel lines with fuel.
