- 8 3H-6624 Bolt Use the following procedure to tighten the bolts:
1. Tighten the bolt 1 through bolt 16 in a numerical sequence to 5 3 N m (44 27 lb in).
2. Tighten the bolt 1 through bolt 8 in a numerical sequence to 47 5 N m (35 4 lb ft). These bolts are 3/8-16 X 3 inches.
3. Position the air lines with the compressor housing and the adapter of aftercooler, so that the air lines are aligned properly with each other.
4. Tighten the bolt 9 through bolt 16 in a numerical sequence to 47 5 N m (35 4 lb ft). These bolts are 5/16-18 X 1 inch.
