Removal Procedure
Start By:
Tilt the radiator guard forward. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator Guard - Tilt" in this module.

Remove two bolts (1), the washers, and mounting bracket (2) of the condenser from each side of the radiator. Remove 13 bolts (3), the washers, and the two upper sections of fan guard (4) .

Remove seven bolts (5) and the washers. Remove the bottom section of fan guard (4) .

Loosen bolts (7). Loosen belt tensioner (6). Remove the two belts from the fan drive pulley.

Note: The fan weighs 36 kg (79 lb).
Remove eight bolts (8) and the washers. Move fan (9) forward.

Note: The fan drive weighs 34 kg (75 lb).
Attach a strap and a hoist to fan drive (10), as shown. Remove four bolts (11) and the washers. Remove the fan drive from the engine.Installation Procedure

Put fan drive (10) into position with a strap and a hoist. Install bolts (11) and the washers.

Put fan (9) into position. Install eight bolts (8) and the washers.

Install the two belts onto the fan drive pulley. Tighten belt tensioner (6). Tighten bolts (7) .

Install the bottom section of fan guard (4). Install seven bolts (5) and the washers.

Install the two upper sections of fan guard (4). Install 13 bolts (3) and the washers. Put the mounting bracket (2) of the condenser into position on each side of the radiator. Install two bolts (1) and the washers.End By: Tilt the radiator guard backward. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator Guard - Tilt" in this module.
