Installation Procedure
Clean all of the pins and the bores for the pins.
Align the lower bores of the carriage of the forks with the bores in the lift arms.
Move the tilt linkage until the bores on the tilt linkage and the upper bore of the carriage of the forks are aligned.
Install the pins. Lock the pins.Note: If the host machine is equipped with a quick coupler, refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the quick coupler that is installed on the host machine for proper installation of the carriage of the forks.Removal Procedure
Place the forks on a surface that is flat and solid.
Stop the engine. In order to relieve the pressure in the hydraulic system, refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the host machine for the proper procedure.
Remove the pin from the tilt linkage and the upper bore of the carriage of the fork tines.
Start the engine and move the tilt linkage away from the carriage of the fork tines.
Remove the pins from the lower bores of the carriage of the fork tines and the lift arms of the host machine.
Move the host machine away from the carriage.
After the carriage has been removed, coat all of the bushings in the pin bores with grease. Coat all of the unused pins with grease.Note: If the host machine is equipped with a quick coupler, refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the quick coupler that is installed on the host machine for proper removal of the carriage of the fork tines.Installation Procedure of Fork Tines

Place the fork tine in an upright position on level, solid ground.
Slowly move the carriage to the fork tine. Align the carriage with the fork tine.
Align the bore of the carriage with the bore in the fork tine.
Install the shaft (3) into the carriage and into the fork tine.
Install plates (2) over the ends of the shaft. There is one plate at each end of the shaft.
Install the bolts (1) through the plate (2) and into the carriage.
Place the fork tine in the desired location.
Install clamps (4) in order to secure the fork tine from moving out of position on pin (3) .Removal Procedure of Fork Tines
Place the fork tines on level, solid ground.
Remove the clamps (4) from the pin (3) .
Remove the bolts (1) from the carriage.
Remove the plates (2) from the carriage.
Carefully remove the pin (3) from the carriage.
Move the carriage from the fork tine.
