2. Remove 10 bolts and washers (2) and remove plate (1). 3. Disconnect electrical connector (3). 4. Disconnect two electrical connectors (4). 5. Disconnect four electrical connectors (7), remove four bolts and washers (5) and plate (6). 6. Remove four larger headed bolts (8) and valve (9). Install the brake control valve in the reverse order. The weight of the steering and brake control valve is 43 kg (95 lb).Disassemble Steering Clutch & Brake Control Valve
Start By:a. remove steering clutch and brake control valve. 1. Remove two wire straps (2).2. Remove four bolts (1) and remove plate (3). 3. Remove manifold (4) and washers (5). 4. Remove nut (9), solenoid (8), and stem (7) from manifold (4).5. Remove O-rings (10) from stem (7).6. Remove O-ring (6) from manifold (4). 7. Remove two dowels (11) and plate (12). 8. Remove O-ring (14) from valve (15).9. Remove bolts (13) and remove valve (15). 10. Remove O-ring seal (16) from valve (15).11. Remove bolts (17) and remove plate (18) from valve (15). 12. Remove four O-ring seals (19).13. Remove two springs (20) and (21) from each bore. 14. Remove four pistons (22). 15. Remove four plugs (26) and seals (25).16. Remove springs (24) and spools (23). 17. Remove plate (27) from manifold (28).18. Remove dowels (30).19. If necessary, remove plugs (29) from plate (27). Plugs (29) are not interchangeable. Do not mix. 20. Remove O-ring seal (31) from manifold (28).21. Remove nut (33), spacer (32) and solenoid (34).22. Remove stem (35).23. Remove O-ring seals (36) from stem (35). Repeat this procedure for the remaining solenoid assemblies. 24. Remove two dowel pins (37) from manifold (28).25. Install M16 x 2.0 Bolt (38) in spool assembly (39) and remove two spool assemblies.Assemble Steering Clutch & Brake Control Valve
1. Install M16 x 2.0 Bolt (38) in spool assembly (39). Align slot on spool assembly (39) with the holes for dowel pins (37). Install dowel pins (37) and remove bolt (38). 2. Install O-ring seals (36) on stem (35).3. Install stems (35) and tighten to a torque of 50 5 N m (37 4 lb ft).4. Install solenoids (34), spacers (32) and nuts (33). Tighten nuts (33) to a torque of 9.5 1.5 N m (84 13 lb in). 5. Install plugs and seals (29) in plate (27). Install plugs in the same location from which they were removed from. Tighten to the torque of 0.6 N m (5 lb in).6. Install dowels (30) and install plate (27) on manifold (28) as shown. 7. Install spools (23) and springs (24) in valve (15).8. Install O-rings (25) on plugs (26) and install plugs (26). Tighten plugs (26) to a torque of 50 10 N m (37 7 lb ft). 9. Install pistons (22) in valve (15). 10. Install springs (20) and (21) in valve (15).11. Install O-ring seals (19). 12. Install plate (18) and bolts (17).13. Install O-ring seal (16). 14. Install valve (15) on manifold (28) and plate
