7. Remove gasket (9), bearing (20), shim kit (21), cover (22) and O-ring seal (23) from pump housing (10). 8. Remove plug (24) and its O-ring seal (25) from pump housing (10). 9. Remove four bolts (26) and two retainer plates (27) from pump housing (10).10. Lay pump housing (10) on its side, remove rotary group (28), as a unit, from pump housing (10). Rotary group (28) consists of pistons (29), plate (30) and barrel (31). Be careful that plate (30) and pistons (29) do not become disengaged from barrel (31) while removing the rotary group from pump housing (10).
Pistons (29) and plate (30) out of barrel (31)11. Put identification marks on pistons (29), plate (30) and barrel (31) for assembly purposes. During assembly the pistons must be inserted in their original locations in plate (30) and in body (31). Remove barrel (31) from pistons (29) and plate (30).
There is spring force against upper guide (34) and retaining ring (32). When retaining ring (32) is removed the spring force will be released. To prevent injury, removal of retaining ring (32), upper and lower guides (34) and spring (33) should be performed in a shop press.
12. Position barrel (31) in a press. Use Tool (D) in order to put a slight amount of compression on plate (34) and spring (33). Use Tool (B) in order to remove retaining ring (32) that holds upper guide (34) and spring (33) in barrel (31) and against lower guide (34). Carefully release the pressure from guide (34) and spring (33). Remove upper and lower guides (34) and spring (33) from barrel (31). 13. Remove swashplate (35), shaft (36), shaft bearing (37) and its shim kit (under the swash plate) from pump housing (10). Note that the shim kit is on top of the shaft bearing. 14. Use Tool (C) in order to remove bearing cup (38) from pump housing (10). 15. Remove outer shield (39) from pump housing (10). 16. Use Tool (B) in order to remove retaining ring (40) from pump housing (10). 17. Remove seal (41) from pump housing (10). 18. Remove screws (44) that hold bearings (42) and (43) in pump housing (10). The following steps are for the assembly of the implement hydraulic pump. If a new swashplate, swashplate bearings, shaft, shaft bearings, head or housing are installed, axial end play must be set. Refer to the topic "Shaft Bearing Endplay Adjustment" in the Specifications Manual, SENR8514.19. Clean all of the components of the implement hydraulic pump before assembling, During assembly, check the condition of all of the O-ring seals that were removed from the assembly. If any of these seals are damaged, use new parts for replacement. 20. Install bearing (42), bearing (43), and setscrews (44) to housing (10). Tighten screws (44) to a torque of 4.0 0.4 N m (35 4 lb in). 21. Install seal (41) in pump housing (10). Use Tool (B) in order to install snap ring (40) in pump housing
