Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the crosshead.
Be sure that the engine is off. Move the control lever in order to be sure that the weight of the jib boom is being supported by the lifting device. Move the control lever back and forth from one side to the other side in order to release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Loosen the filler cap slowly in order to release any pressure in the hydraulic tank.

Attach a suitable lifting device to jib boom cylinder (1) . Place suitable cribbing (not shown) between boom (2) and jib boom cylinder (1) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to jib boom (4) . Remove pin assembly (3) .
Remove jib boom (4) . The approximate weight of jib boom (4) is 181 kg (400 lb).Installation Procedure
Install jib boom (4) in the reverse order as removal.
