Install a blocking plate at location (S) on either winch.
Install a 0 to 28000 kPa (0 to 4000 psi) pressure gauge at pressure tap (G) .
Start the engine and run the engine at high idle.
Fully shift the control lever to HIGH SPEED RAISE for the winch that has the blocking plate. The reading on the gauge is the setting of the main relief valve.
Do not hold relief pressure for more than 10 seconds. If more time is required to check the setting, wait for one minute before you develop the relief pressure again.
If the pressure reading in Step 4 was not 18250 + 520 - 175 kPa (2650 + 75 - 25 psi), add or remove shims (5) from the main relief valve. See Table 11.

Install blocking plates at location (R) on both winches.
Install a 0 to 28000 kPa (0 to 4000 psi) pressure gauge at pressure tap (G) .
Start the engine and run the engine at high idle.
Fully shift the boom control lever to POWER DOWN. The high reading on the pressure gauge is the setting for the boom relief valve (POWER DOWN).
Fully shift the hook control lever to POWER DOWN. The high reading on the pressure gauge is the setting for the hook relief valve (POWER DOWN).

If the pressure readings from Steps 4 and 5 were not 10500 520 kPa (1520 75 psi), perform the following adjustment:
Stop the engine.
Remove cap (1) and loosen locknut (3) .
Turn adjustment screw (2) clockwise in order to increase the pressure. Turn the screw counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure.
Hold the adjustment screw in order to prevent movement while you tighten the locknut. Install cap (1) .
Check the pressure setting on the relief valve again. If necessary, readjust the setting again until the proper setting is attained.Counterweight Relief Valve

Implement Hydraulic Pump (H) Pressure tap for the small section of the pump (counterweight circuit)
Install a 0 to 28000 kPa (0 to 4000 psi) pressure gauge on a 6V-3081 Hose Assembly .
Install the hose with the pressure gauge onto pressure tap (H) .
Start the engine and run the engine at high idle.
Do not hold the control lever in the RETRACT position at relief pressure for more than five seconds.
