Attach a suitable lifting device to the engine (39), as shown. Use Tooling (B) with the lifting device, as shown.

Install Tooling (A) under the main hydraulic pump, as shown. Install proper cribbing (37) under the rear of the main hydraulic pump, as shown.

Install the engine. The weight of the engine is approximately 950 kg (2100 lb). Install four engine mounting bolts (40). Torque the rear engine mounting bolts to 900 100 N m (665 75 lb ft). Torque the front engine mounting bolts to 620 80 N m (460 60 lb ft). Install the mounting bolts (39) for the main hydraulic pump. Install the toolbox that is located above the engine valve cover.

Connect the hose (not shown) for the crankcase breather at the breather. Install bolt (35) for clips (36) .

Connect clip (31) for the tube assemblies for the fan. Connect hose assembly (33) for the fuel supply and clip (32). Connect air inlet hose (34) at the engine.

Connect hose assembly (29). Connect clip (28) and connect the harness assembly at connector (27). Install clip (30) on the engine mount.

Connect harness assembly (24) and install two clips (23). Position the muffler bracket (26) and install four bolts (25) for muffler bracket (26) .

Install bracket (20). Install two bolts (19) for the bracket and connect battery cable (18) to the solenoid for the electric starting motor. Connect ground wires (21) to the electrical starting motor. Connect clip (22) for wire (8).

Connect heater hose (15) to the valve. Connect upper radiator hose (16) at the engine. Connect aftercooler hose (17) to the radiator group.

Lift the compressor into position and install mounting bolts (11) for the compressor. Connect wire (8) and clips (10) that retain the wire. Install clips for the air conditioner lines. Connect two hoses (12) and (14) that are attached to the water pump. Connect harness assembly (13).

Lift the circuit breaker panel (7) into position and install three mounting bolts (6) for circuit breaker panel (7). Install lower fan guard (4). Connect hose assembly (5) to the back of circuit breaker panel (7) .

Install bracket (2) that is located on the left side of the radiator and install six bolts (1) .
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for more information.End By:
