Remove cap assemblies (1), caps (2), adapters, nipples, and O-ring seals from hydraulic block (3) .

Remove bolts (4) that secure hydraulic block (3) to the hydraulic rotator.
Repeat Step 1 and Step 2 in order to remove the remaining hydraulic block from the hydraulic rotator.

Attach Tooling (A) to the two holes that are located on opposite sides of the upper housing.
Remove two bolts (5) that secure hydraulic rotator (6) to the upper housing.

Rotate gear and bearing assembly (8) in order to remove 36 bolts (9) from the bottom of gear and bearing assembly (8) .
Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (A). The weight of upper housing (7) is approximately 145 kg (320 lb). Carefully remove upper housing (7) from the gear and bearing assembly.Installation Procedure

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to position upper housing (7) onto gear and bearing assembly (8). The weight of upper housing (7) is approximately 145 kg (320 lb).
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of 36 bolts (9). Rotate gear and bearing assembly (8) in order to install 36 bolts (9). Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 200 40 N m (148 30 lb ft).

Align hydraulic rotator (6) with the bracket in the upper housing.
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of two bolts (5). Install two bolts (5) that secure the upper housing to the hydraulic rotator. Tighten two bolts (5) to a torque of 200 40 N m (148 30 lb ft).
Remove the suitable lifting device and Tooling (A) .

Position hydraulic block (3) on the hydraulic rotator. Install bolts (4) that secure the hydraulic block to the hydraulic rotator. Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 240 40 N m (177 30 lb ft).

Install the O-ring seals, nipples, adapters, caps (2), and cap assemblies (1) on hydraulic block (3) .
Repeat Step 6 and Step 7 in order to install the remaining hydraulic block onto the hydraulic rotator.End By: Install the mounting bracket. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Mounting Bracket - Remove and Install".
