ACTION REQUIRED
Refer to Hydraulic Information System (HIS) to build the hose assemblies that are listed in the Parts Needed.
Refer to Image 4 through Image 8 below for the appropriate lines group on the affected engine being reworked.
1. Remove 111-3388, 111-3389, and 8N-6327 Tube Assemblies from 101-1246 Lines Group 101-1246. Remove clamps, brackets and associated hardware used for the mounting of the tube assemblies. Refer to Image 1.
2. Replace existing rigid fuel lines with new flex lines consistent with the Parts Needed. Refer to Image 2.
3. Ensure that all flexible fuel lines are securely mounted. The new flexible fuel lines should not rub or contact other lines or components. Refer to Image 3.
4. Operate the engine after completion and check for leaks and repair as necessary.

The fuel tubes listed needs to be Replaced on the products listed below. The existing fuel tubes may leak due to a stress failure which could, in conjunction with other factors or circumstances, result in a risk of personal injury or death. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
