Attach the opposite end of hose assembly (16) as shown.
Attach hose assembly (8) to port "T" of valve assembly (10) with O-ring seal (26) .

Optional Drain Connection (8) 169-7510 Hose Assembly (22) 3J-1907 O-Ring Seal (35) 8T-0164 Elbow Note: Ensure that the hydraulic tank is drained of oil. If the oil has not been drained, apply a vacuum to the hydraulic tank. This action will ensure that the oil does not escape during the installation of the tank line.
Attach the opposite end of hose assembly (8) to the hydraulic tank using Tee (1), O-ring seal (26), reducer (28) and O-ring seal (24). Refer to Illustrations 8 and 14.
Inspect all of the hoses and all of the connections before you operate the machine. Verify that the proper hose is connected to the proper port on the valve.Note: Install the electrical components after installation of the hydraulic components.Installation Procedure for the Electrical Components
Use cable straps (41) when necessary to secure the additional wiring to existing components.Note: For the C-series models, refer to Illustration 16 for the location for installing the switch.
Locate the wiring harnesses (long) (13) and wiring harness (short) (12) .

Preferred location of the switch for the C-Series Excavators
Loosen the console in order to expose the wires in the console. Duplicate the template in Illustration 16 in order to locate the holes. Fasten the template to the console in the appropriate location for your model in order to determine the position of switch (32) on the console. Do not damage any of the existing wires. Drill a 12 mm (0.469 inch) hole in the console. Drill a 3.0 mm (0.125 inch) hole for the second hole. Place the 7N-2353 Switch (32) in 172-4478 Plate (11). Install the plate and the switch into the hole in the console.

C-series models
Connect the wiring harness to the toggle switch. Connect the green wire to the terminal that is identified by the number three. Connect the yellow wire to the terminal that is identified by the number two. Refer to Illustration 19.

C-series models
For the C-series models, remove the cigar lighter from the console. Connect the yellow wire from the toggle switch to the cigar lighter. Refer to Illustration 20.
If necessary, install the 7Y-8167 Grommet into the hole that is located on the floor in the right rear corner of the cab. Run the wire from the cab, through the grommet, and back to the control valve in the hydraulic compartment of the host machine. Use the cable straps to fasten the wiring harness to the existing wiring harness.Note: Do not fasten wiring harnesses to the hydraulic hoses when you are routing the wiring harnesses.
