Use a suitable press to install bushing (18).Note: Bushing (18) must be installed so it is flush with the flange adapter.
Install O-ring seal (17).

Install flange adapter (16) and bolts (15).

Install motor mount assembly (11) into the valve body. Thread lead screw (14) into the center of valve piston (15). Rotate the shaft of lead screw (14) into the center of valve piston (15).
Install new O-ring seal (13) into the valve body.
Ensure that lead screw (14) is fully inserted into shaft bearing (16).
Install bolts (12) into motor mount assembly (11).

Position control module (10) on motor mount assembly (11) and the valve body.
Install the washers and bolts (9).

Inspect the alignment of drive pin (8).
Install the new gasket. Position housing (6) and install four bolts (7).
Install motor (5) into housing (6).
Install the washers and bolts (4).

If necessary, drill a hole in the center of cover (1) and apply Tooling (A) to surface of cover (1) and the motor housing surface.
Position cover (1) and install bolts (2).
Connect harness assembly (3). Apply Tooling (A) around gland where the grommet contacts the motor housing for harness assembly (3).
If necessary, install elbow fitting (17) into cover (1).
Position hose assembly (19) and install clamp assembly (18).
Install bracket (23) and bolt (22).
Install clamp assembly (20) and bolt (21), the washer, and the nut.

Cover the harness assemblies with heat shrink tube (24) and use a heat gun to form the tubing to the harness assemblies. Ensure that the glue from the tubing is forced from between the harness assemblies and the tubing.End By:
Install the water temperature control valve.
