943, 953, 963 And 973 LoadersIn the current "Operation and Maintenance Guides" a specification under the heading "Towing" gives the speed and distance for which a machine can be towed. This specification is:
"Do NOT tow the machine faster than 3 km/h (2 mph), or a distance more than 800 meters (1/2 mile) maximum."
Formerly, our recommendation for early 943 and 953 Loaders was at a speed of 8 km/h (5 mph). This has been changed because our original specification was too fast and machine damage was possible. If you have an earlier "Operation and Maintenance Guide" with the former specification, put a mark through it and make a note of the current specification in your guide.
