All 3500 EnginesEngine News SEBD9960, 19 September 2014, "An Improved Inspection Process for Cylinder Liners Used in All 3500 Engines ". Disregard this article. Refer to the article that follows. A process change at supplier prevented certain 3500 engine cylinder liners from being inspected by the supplier's Eddy Current machine from 5February 2014 to 15February 2014.Dealers need to inspect the loose parts inventory to determine if 211-7826 Cylinder Block Liners are within the suspect cylinder liner serial number range. The last five digits on the bottom of the liner are the serial numbers. If a cylinder liner is within the suspect range, contact the DSN.The suspect cylinder liner serial numbers are listed in Table 1.
