Caterpillar does not stock certain parts for certain Flywheel Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) that may change revisions and render stock obsolete. When dealers search the Caterpillar parts system they may see zero pieces in stock. Even though there are zero pieces in stock, the parts are still available through our suppliers and can be ordered through the Caterpillar parts system.The dealers should order parts as per the standard process for all Flywheel UPS parts regardless of inventory shown in the Caterpillar parts system. For Urgent orders, the dealer should follow the Caterpillar parts expediting process and order the parts as "Unit Down". The dealer should also call the Morton Customer Services Order Analyst at 1-800-566-7782 to ensure that the parts are shipped as needed. The parts requested will ship out direct from the supplier to the dealer in the most efficient manner available.
