Check the transmission oil level.Check the oil level with the engine idling and transmission oil cold.
Check for leaks.Inspect all oil lines, hoses, and connections for leaks.Note: A leak that allows oil to escape can allow air to enter the system. Air in the system can be as bad as a low amount of oil.
Check the electrical system.Inspect the harnesses, connectors, and fuses.Check the electrical harnesses for damaged or broken wires. Disconnect each connector and look pins or sockets that are bent, broken, or missing. Look for foreign material inside the connectors. The connectors must be disconnected with a normal amount of force. Connectors must be reconnected with the same amount of force. Connectors must fit together firmly.
