Touchscreen Operation
Operating the system from the touchscreen is accomplished by touching various areas on the monitor screen. The system senses the operators touch and performs a task or command. Typical commands will activate a new screen which displays additional information. Other commands will activate screens which will allow the operator to enter or alter system data or settings.

Typical touch areas (1) Engine control button (2) Meter button (3) Engine control switchThe Engine Control screen is activated by touching the picture of the engine (1) or the Control button (6) on the Menu bar at the bottom of the screen.Touching the blue box displayed below the engine (2) will activate the "Generator Meter" screen. The "Meter" screen may also be displayed by pressing the "Meter" button (7) on the Menu bar.The "Generator Engine Control" switch (ECS) is operated by touching the areas on the switch (3). The switch knob will rotate to the selected position indicating the selected mode.Refer to Illustrations 1 and 3 for button locations.

Frequency/pf select controlIn the "Meter" screen there are "Select Meter" pushbutton switches. The pushbuttons switch the meters to display either power factor or Hz. Refer to Illustration 2

The bar provides the primary means to navigate thru the systems screen. Touching a button will cause activation similar to a pushbutton and take the operator to a new screen. Refer to Illustration 3

Typical voltage control switch touch areas (10) Touch areasA volt or amp switch will operate similar to the ECS switch. This switch is found on the "Meter" screen. The switch is activated by touching the desired switch position.

Typical setting touch areasSystem settings and generator settings are displayed to the operator by the various setting screens. These screens also permit settings to be adjusted by the operator. The touch areas are only active after the proper password has been entered into the system from the "Main Menu" screen.With the password active, then touching the white numerical display area will enable the setting to be adjusted by the operator.

Note: A crosshatch in the numeric entry indicates that the area is locked. A password must be entered in order to change or enter a number. Does not apply to text entries.Switches/Buttons

Engine control switch
Auto : Allows for all automatic functions to occur.
Manual : Starts the generator.
Cool Down Stop : Unloads generator, opens breaker, then performs Cooldown, generator is unavailable.
Off/Reset : Turns off generator, immediately opens the breaker.Note: The presence of a shutdown alarm on a generator will lock the ECS switch on the Off/Reset position.
