Introduction
The 6Y2930 Frame Assembly has been cancelled and replaced by 6Y4187 Frame Assembly. Installation of the new Frame requires the addition of 6Y5483 Bushings to allow the 9W5560 Bearing to be installed. This instruction shows the proper procedure for installing the Bushings and Bearings in the frame.Reference: Service Manual; Parts BookInstallation Procedure
1. Press fit the 9W5560 Bearings into the 6Y5483 Bushings. 2. Press fit both assemblies into the frame at two locations (A). 3. Weld both sides at location (B) with a 3 mm (0.1") flush weld 30-180° around. Protect the inner diameter of the bearing from weld splatter when welding.
