1. Carefully extend the stick and boom and put tooling (A) in position under the backhoe at the junction of the stick and the boom.
Move all control levers in all positions to remove the pressure from the hydraulic lines.
2. Fasten a nylon strap and hoist to the rod end of stick cylinder (2).3. Remove pin (1) and lower the rod end of the cylinder on to a wood block put in position on the boom.4. Put the nylon strap in position on the center of stick cylinder (2).5. Put marks of identification on hose assemblies (3) and (4) and disconnect the hose assemblies (3) and (4) at the stick cylinder.6. Remove pin (5) and remove stick cylinder (2). The weight of stick cylinder (2) is 54 kg (120 lb.).Install Stick Cylinder
1. Put stick cylinder (2) in position on the boom and install pin (4), bolt and nut.2. Connect hose assemblies (1) and (3) to stick cylinder according to previous identification. 3. Lift stick cylinder (2) to make an alignment of the stick cylinder rod eye and stick pin bore and install pin (5), bolt and nut.
