Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3045" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The engine shutoff timer needs to be reworked on certain D3C, D3C III XL, D4C, D4C III XL, D5C and D5C III XL Tractors and 933 Loaders. The engine shutoff timer can function intermittently requiring cycling of the key switch in order to activate the engine shutoff solenoid.

1. Remove 1431729 Timer from right hand firewall below the instrument panel.2. Remove the 1468881 Harness Assembly (Illustration 1).3. Plug 1498860 Harness Assembly into existing engine harness assembly (Illustration 2).4. Plug 1422876 Timer Assembly into 1498860 Harness Assembly.5. Bolt timer to left hand side firewall using 8T9364 Bolts and 8T4205 Washers (Illustration 2).6. Secure harness with 7K1181 Strap.Owner Notification
